but yea, you are quite correct. even if he did have a 28hz box, id still turn the **** thing on just in case. you never know what kind of music\crap they will put in and how loud they will crank it. they dont understand these concepts. so its best for overkill instead of underkill i always say.

I have my box tuned at 28hz with no SSF, but I'm also underpowering my subs. That 20hz HP FMOD is looking mighty sweet...

Yes, all of my bass cds contain parts that go below 20hz. But mostly I listen to rock.

I think all Fmods are a 6db slope, which would be just about useless for a SSF.

Perfects are so cheap anyways so if you blow them I don't think it would be that big of a deal.

Now if your talking about my custom 18" TC Sounds subs then thats a different story.

I don't ever plan to buy an IKP again... I'm not down with straight up WASTING money so I'd rather not blow them in the first place.
