I need options. I'll spend up to $400 on a unit very soon and wanted opinions and thoughts on different units.

I'm looking at MIO whatever for $199 and Garmin c330 so far, but would like the bluetooth, I THINK, to see calls, etc from my blackberry.

I have the c330 and it's a good unit. However, I would much rather have a unit that gives turns with street names. Rather than the unit saying "turn right." it'll say, "turn right on Rogers." or something. That's the only grip I have with my unit, otherwise it's great for the price. Buying updates on the maps are kind of $$$ though, it's 80 dollars if I remember correctly.

so i've heard:crap: I'm preparing the cash..keep that HU handy.

I have the C330 and love it...

My dad has the 'smaller' thin unit. They pretty much do the exact same things, only his is smaller and sounds like anus turned up.

You can find them online pretty cheap if you look around....

my buddy has one with bluetooth and we have the same phone the verizon xv6700 and i guess he uses it as gps and it shows the maps and what not on the phone and he said it only cost him like $50 for the gps with bluetooth i dunno which it is

yeah, with my BB, I can hook into a GPS device...I was hoping to get traffic info that I get through google maps on my BB sent TO the gps...a couple of the GPS units say they can hook into that data. I need to do more research.

I don't like the C models, they are too bulky. I had the Nuvi 200 (basic Nuvi model). It does not give turn by turn with street names and I don't believe it had bluetooth. Best Buy had them on sale last week for $299, which was a great price. When I buy my new one (last one was stolen along with my truck), it will most likely be the Nuvi 600 series.
