port up, sub up in trunk

I'd never recommend sub and port up in a trunk...unless you're just looking to rattle the trunk lid and be disappointed/shortchanged with output.
I've done it with fantastic results. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

So misfit, did you just deaden the shit out of your trunk?
I did it in a friend's vehicle. Yes, the trunk is well deadened. 15" DC Level 4 with 2 4" aeros. There's some deck lid rattling, but there just about always is. It's nearly impossible to completely eliminate rattles...

I ran sub up(very close to the trunk lid with no deadener) and port to the side in my Taurus. Didn't sound that bad at all. A little smoother really and the trunk actually rattled less like this than with sub and ports facing the rear of the car. Output was similar either way.
