Port tuning questions

I have a couple of questions I can't seem to get a direct answer to...

I know the rule of thumb is about 15 sq.in. of port area per 1 cu.ft. of air space. How thin can the opening of the port be before issues come up? Say I have a 4.3 cu.ft. box I want to tune to 32hz. Can I have a 2"x34" port opening without any ill effects if its long enough for the correct tuning?

Also when designing a rectangle port, is there anything to take into account if the port is a labryrinth instead of a L-shape? Like the picture below...

look up port end correction. That sketch doesn't look like it applies it at all.
I actually drew up that sketch really quickly to make sure what I was talking about made sense to everyone. Its not the actual box I am trying to design. I'll have the port end correction factored in when I finalize the design. Thanks
