Port tube bracing?

Do you have to brace the port tube on the inside of the box or is drilling it on the outside enough? its 3 3inch aeros 14 inches long. 4 8" assassins 3.1 cu ft.

What's the best way to brace the end of the port tube inside the box?

I would brace it if its longer than about 6".

If you glue it together with PVC adhesive, there is really no need to brace it unless it is really long. I have never had a problem with not bracing them.

Mine are glued together with the PVC adhesive, then the are caulked in the hole, and are secured with "L" brackets.

I have 1 4" aero 13.75" long glued together and no bracing and it works fine.

aeros are pretty solid ater being glued, they don't move at all. I use 15" 6" aeros in my buddies box, and they dont move at all, nice and solid.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
