All depends on the car. I fire both the sub and port back, it sounds the best to me. Although I haven't tried port to the side yet, but my next setup will consist of it.

well its in a convertible so im sure. the trunk is only 8 cf and i only have the 9x9 opening and 9 inches in height for the box. so looks like an 8 or a down firing 10

this is the basicly the same car. but 2 10s ported in that tiny box? the amp on the floor makes the trunk totally unusable.
