Port the Perfects?

I'm runnin two perfects and im thinkin about porting them....good idea, bad idea..i want it louder. tell me what you think. thanks

make sure you port low with the perfects though, itll retain their nice sq mine got muddy above 32hz or so, they the 12s?

Yea, basically you make the enclosure so the SQ will **** and it will be loud as hell, and what will result is a nice sounding loud *** setup. Perfects sound nice in even the WORST enclosures. The spl for sq compromise with these drivers is non existent. I have a pair of 10" Perfects that crank as hard as a 15" L7 in a SPL ported box. THe Perfects are in a sealed box. Ported>not

Yeah i got the 12s, so what should it be tuned at and where can i get this box?

i have my 2 perfect 12's in 3.5 net cubes tuned to 32 hz with pretty small port area and it sounds awsome. not the loudest but definatly louder than the sealed box i had for them and the sq is the same. just make the box... jl audio has really great tutorials that can help u with the box and the port and what not.
