Port Size Check...

I have a 13W7 in a 2.3 cuft box or so (Fiberglass, checking volume later tonight) but its around that size... Im porting it to 30hz, so the port dimentions approx (till i see the exact volume) is 11.75"W x 1.75"H x 18"+/- L

This sufficient for minimal port noise?

that is one skinny port

according to http://www.carstereo.com/help2/Articles.cfm?id=31 , your port length is too short... should be closer to 22" long...

also, is that 2.3 after port and subwoofer displacements or before? because if it is before displacements, there's no way you can port it

Well the 18" is approx.... I can make it longer, and ive designed the box to have an adjustable port length till I have the final...

I might have to tune to 32 hz or something in the end, but not a big deal.

The size 2.3cuft AFTER port/sub displacement.

The size is bigger than 2.4cuft, thats my low measurement, I thiink once I have the thing glassed, and fill 'er up with water, it will be closer for 2.5-2.6cuft.

alright, so no, you shouldn't have port noise but it's possible
