Port question...

So I started my first box build ever, I am building a box for a single Type R. It is 2.2 cubic feet tuned to 32 hz. I am almost done with it and will post pics later, but was wondering what I should use to support the port inside. Should I just glue it and silicone it , or put screws in the bottom of the box along with glue in order to hold the L shape in place and prevent rattling. Any info on how you guys do it is appreciated. Thanks, Chris.

I would screw it on top and bottom, but the glue is most important.
