Port Question...

Ok, got me a box design of 5.395^3 (after sub and bracing displacement)

I wanna tune her to 32hz......i had a link to a page to help calculate the port. so here is my question...

after putting in the box size and ports..it states that 2 3" ports at 4.7" or 2 4" ports at 9.33"

Question; just wondering, what is "typicly" the better port to go with? 3" or 4"??? or even a slot? And why the big size difference when going to a bigger port?

Also are them port sizes correct?

Shoot i dont make boxes man, but the ports i have on my subs are external, they are called aero ports. Never seen them before, but i have seen some competition pics with people using them.

Now I am not going to suggest them, as they look pretty strange and take up space, but if u wanna add anothe 3db or whatever to ur box just hit those up man - you use pvc piping to make them
