hey guys,

i have a single cab chevy and i am building a new box for two ported dd 1510's. im going to be using a 4 inch aero port and i need to know which would be loudest. on the sides, front (towards the seats), or up towards the ceiling.

also are the box requirements for the 1510 the same as the new t1510? also what do these like to be tuned at looking for a mix of sq and audible loudness.

thanks

basic rule on trunk box's are subs toward the frount and ports up
Are you stupid? No its not, thats almost the worst in most cases. If your seats fold down, point everything to the front and seal off the trunk, if youre not gonna seal it, face everything to the back

ps - a 4" aero probably isnt enough port for 2 10's

HE SAID TRUCKNOT TRUNK

in both of my trucks of that style (1988-1998) i avoided porting directly into that block of faom they call a seat one i ported up (enjoyed ) and the other i ported under the seat (bout 5.25 inches under there (Didn't mind but liked up better)
