Port Placement Question

I'm looking at building a new box using a pair of 1508's under the seat in an F150 SuperCrew. Here's my question: Is there any issue with the subs being fairly close to the mouth of the port? I've always tried to avoid it in the past, but I don't know if there's an actual reason why it couldn't work. Here's a pic to give a better idea of what I'm talking about.

It's a loading issue. Too close to the port can possibly cause unloading. I know I've flirted with it before and never actually had a woofer bottom out because of it. That one woofer is literally right next to the port. This may not be wanted but you could turn the port towards the rear of the enclosure after it clears that one wall.

Most times it will completely screw up your port tuning, usually makes the enclosure very boomy( peak around a handful of freq, and rolloff very quickly) basically sounds like *** playing music
