port nois need help

i made a box for my 15L7 and the other day i decided to port it i put a 9 inch long 4 in. round port in it and it has alot of noise once it is turned up. i used a few different programs to get the size and length of the port. but how do i lessen the noise.

go with a 6inch round port for the 15, or shorten the port.

slot port or aero-port...
he said round but who knows whether aero or pvc.

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
