port location effects?

so i may clear coat the front birch baffle with a semi gloss or stain it once and one clear. what do you guys think?

mmats pro comp set with a 6.5 mach5 mid doest interest anybody as a home audio setup for music and movies setup in .75 @45hz?

finished with the second one, couldnt get a pic with both finished cause ones already hooked up inside.

i didt like the stain i had from my ported box on these, so im just going to clear coat them later on or just leave em.

Dont know much about home audio but the boxes look good as is to me.

Ive always wanted a descent home stereo, Im assuming you guys have fairly large processors and such to drive these? Id LOVE to throw a 10-12" driver in my room
