port length can someone help

wuz up guys building a box for my girls car trying to figure out the port length for it. it going to be like 2.6 or 2.9 cu ft for one alpine 12 i wouldl like for it to be tuned to like 35 or maybe a little higher. i was wanting to do an L port but can't seem to get past the second step in the port formula that Kickerlivinloud posted on carjunkyard forum. if someone can help me it out it would be awesome thanks in advance guys.
