Port direction question

should I build a box with a port facing the roof or facing the rear. Are there any advantages/disadvantages to either? Im going for loud to the ear.

BTW I got 2 12 L7's and redoing the box for my jeep.

i would face your port to the rear personnally

yeh do sub up port back.

its louder.

It depends on the vehicle. In my hatch, port back and sub up was louder around 40-50hz but not as loud to the ear from below 40hz.
