Ok, while over spring break I'm going to try out my Epicenter and my USA-300 in my S-10 for shits and giggles with a DD 1008 I have laying around. It is going to be a downward firing box, 1cube @ 40hz. My only question is what way to fire the port? I've been told to the side by some people and up by others... Anyone in here done a downard firing ported box in an Ext Cab S-10?

I got the best results with my 2 15 in my s10 xcab was both subs & ports firing up. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

im goin to have subs angled the same as the seat and ports on the side

2 on one side and

one on the other with the amps inards about 5 inches away from the port

no fan!

lol

for my next one i wnat to try downfiring

no extended cabs have a space behind the front seats .. kinda like a trunk in a car.. just to throw stuff back there.. some trucks have fold up/down jump seats..

i took one out just cause it woulndt be used with the box where it is

pretty good amount of space, i got 5 cubes on one side of the ****** hump with the box below coax speaker level and the seat laying all the way back
