Port Calculator Question

If I use 4 ports for example and it says the length is 30" ...does that mean each of the four ports (round) is 30" or would each be 7.5"

I notice one 8" port the length was like 31" and 4x 4" ports (same area) is 33" so it just seems like the port length would be divided amongst the smaller ports.

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
