for those experience box builders:

Is this calculation for the port length on this site seems accurate:

If so, this site will be a great help for those who want to build their own ported enclosures, which I just barely started doing. The only problem i have is the port dimension. I never had the time to figure out that mean looking formula.

i had a guy helping me and i think he was using some program and i was using that site also, and they was like .01 difference. i've also been trying to plan a ported box, last nite i just found out how to find the port area and displacement which isnt hard i just wanted to make sure i was doing it right

Yes that box calculator works fine. But it is a good idea to try and figure out the formula, it is not to bad once you use it a few times
