port brace help

and for 2 18" treo ssx treo recomends 100sgin of port if i do the 150sqin how is it going to efect my output or just do 100sqin like treo recomends

I've seen people use little strips of wood in between. Or you can use dowels.

2x4 underneath and dowels cut the 2x4 and attach to the baffle even a 1x4 would help a lot from structural stand point.

I just got in from working on bracing my box better and its so much better now. I used two 1inch dowels inside the port and then just make sure you brace from the port wall to other side of the box as well as the whole box.

I didnt want to post in this thread about the amp..but you haven't been answering my pm's.
