Port area

Ok I know the a rule of thumb is 12-16 port area a foot for slot port boxes... Is this the same rule for round port boxes ? I working on another truck box for a regular cab truck this time

Box is 2.4 cubes right now and trying to aero port it looking at some 2in ports 3in at most but want it to sound good

thats only 14in^2 so it will be on the small side, you may be better going with 2 4''

it's 6-8" or port area for aero ports

don't forget to use Pir^2 when calculating area
