Porsche GT3 anyone?

I'm 19, and at 16 I wouldn't even take my parents' cars out without their permission. *shrug*.

By the time i was old enough to drive my dad had already gotten rid of the ZR-1 (a pizza lady helped him, but he decided to get something different with the insurance money), once i had moved out he finally got a decent sports car. He denies that it was anything more than a coincidence.

But yeah, a 911 GT3 is a whole different league than a base 'Vette. I'd slap the driver who wrecked it.

Trancer, no one cares how fast he was going. He took an expensive sports car that was in no way insured with him driving, out on public roads where anything could happen, without the owner's permission.

First of all I had the guys daughter's permission to drive it, and I made sure with her that it was ok, second of all that car is completely covered no matter who drives it. Third of all, I drove it to and from the mall, I was at 75 in 6th gear pushing 3k on the highway with other cars, thats why I thought it was funny I hit 100. I took it 130 on backroads that I know like the back of my hand with barely any other cars to be safe about an hour later after we went to the mall. Eugenics, you say I cant drive yet youve never seen me drive, nor did I give you near enough information to draw that conclusion. I almost gaurantee I could outdrive you, you spend all day on the forumns like its your job, I bet you think you can drive good just because you read about it all day, when in reality Ill bet you cant even get out of first gear without stalling. Oh and the point it took you about 2 mins to respond to my first post is just backing up my statement that you spend your whole life on these stupid boards. Go out and get drunk and have fun.

I would love the opportunity to take a GT3 out for a drive, but there is no way in hell I would do it that way. The permission of the daughter dosen't mean shit to me, I'd have to ask the OWNER of the car.

I've been driving my dad's Chevelle for years and I still won't take it out without his permission (even though he dosen't care that I drive it) and it isn't even fast by todays standards. Anywho, lucky bastard for driving a GT3, just not the way I would have done it.

I dont need to see you drive to know that you cant... you explained it pretty well. You also have absolutely no knowledge of the car, or sports cars in general, let alone spirited driving. Otherwise

A) you wouldn't have been so surprised by the vehicle getting to 100 (not to mention you would've been paying attention to your speedo and RPMs),

B) You would've shift properly, and dont hide behind that mileage bullshit defense... you took that mans vehicle upto 130.... no concerns about economy there.

C) You would've taken it much higher than 130. Money says, that whether you will admit it or not. You started at 100, and got even more enthusiastic when you got a chance to call out that it was going 110, that you sat in anticipation and chriped ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY!!!!, and then yelped ONE HUNDRED AND OH MY GOD THIRTY!!!!!, at which point she was scared and told you to come down. Which means a few things, two of those things happen to be that you're a moron, and that you have no experience driving sports cars.

Those cars still feel very stable at those speeds, and wind noise is the main indicator of speed until you hit around 160.

You had her permission? So what.... She's obviously not very smart. She's not very pretty either. But you are.

I Hope getting drunk isn't the only way you know to have fun. Although it probably is, you seem like the typical, below average intelligence, collar popping douche.

You need to learn a few things about maturity and acting your age before you try and give others advice about it. Something called merit....

So yeah, you can 'gaurentee' that you're going to out drive me any day. God knows you're going to come back on here swinging your cock again once you learn how to parallel park. Anyone can drive someone else's car and crest 130, it doesn't really make you special.

Really I expected better from you, I mean your best defense to me not being able to drive is me shifting into 6th gear when I was SLOWLY, yes SLOWLY working my way up to 75. I didnt go faster then 130 because A. cops, yes I am scared of them, and B. because yes my friend was getting a little nervous, and I can read girls expressions, something you probably cant do. Come on man, we all know the reason your acting like the jackass we all know you are is probably because your dissapointed you didnt get to take a GT3 for a joyride. Well because then maybe once in your life people would look up to you with respect, instead of the usual shitting on you because thats how you treat everyone with your horrible social skills. People like your are what ruins forumns, I came on to this forumn to use the classifieds and to get help, and maybe to share a cool experience once in awhile like this one. I shouldve known better that something that made my weekend would just get me flamed by tools like yourself. If you would like to try another lame comeback by making up your own scenarios that are usually 99% untrue you can give it your best shot. It's funny thats the only way you can usually flame people. One more thing, if you would've been in my posistion with one of your good friends telling you she wanted to go for a joyride in her Dad's Porsche, you **** well know you'd take it. The 99% random number you came up with is false. He called that the girl was getting uneasy about the speed, and you just confirmed that you could tell she was getting uneasy. You not being able to drive thats arguable, so at worst he is 50% true.

And no I wouldnt take it out. Just 2 weeks ago I was offered to drive a nice 350z and the 9 second supra(not sure if he was serious or not, I think he was cuz he asked a few times and said "are you sure?") but the 350z owner definitely was, long time friend of mine. Not that its a special car, Its just that I dont wanna drive anyone else's car, just like I wouldnt want anyone driving mine, and my cars are not special at all. its psychological I guess.
