I dont think I would have taken another mans car(especially that car) and went 130 in it. Guess I just have more respect for others possessions. Just my two cents.

I wouldnt have taken it at all. I have issues driving other peoples' cars unless its necessary,just like I wouldnt want anyone driving mine without it being necessary.

It's plated in real god, you moron. And i doubt someones going to go out of their way to break into a car that already sticks out like a sore thumb for an emblem.
And you must not be too concerned about gas if you're taking it upto 130. And you also shouldn't hide behind the "dont want to stress the engine" cop out either...

There are two facts in this thread. One is that you dont know how to drive. The other is that you're incredibly disrespectful to others property. An inexperienced driver taking someone elses 100k+ vehicle upto 130... Sure, its nothing for that car. But its something for you, a little too much for you to handle. Not to mention all the abstract random things that could've happened. Do you know how much that would probably upset him and piss him off if he knew what you were doing? Especially if you wrecked it... It's not like it can just be replaced, assuming the insurance company would be willing to do that. There is a wait on those cars.

From reading his original post, I dont believe he was trying to get the car to go 100 miles. I believe he was just cruising on the highway and looked down and he was going faster than 75. Maybe im wrong? I dunno. But whatever the case is, stfu and quit your btchin

If that were the case, then I understand what he was saying. My friend has an 05 Vette and they let me drive it to the store. I was cruising in last gear on the highway at the speedlimit and I looked down and I was pushing 90. Thought I was going 65. Touch the gas just a little and it zips up before you know it.

Anyway, thats a nice car. I like to see those porche's around town. Now that it stopped raining here in Dallas, everyone is starting to take out their "Sunday" cars. Ferrari's, Lambo's, and Porche's.

Indeed, and although i love them. Vettes are not the rare track beauty that the GT3 is. Seeing one of those wrecked would bring a man to tears.

But yeah, a 911 GT3 is a whole different league than a base 'Vette. I'd slap the driver who wrecked it.

My dad owns a pretty bad *** 89 vette that has ALOT of engine mods and stuff to it etc. I'm only 17 and dont even attempt to take it out without asking him first.
