ok im having a slight problem with my speakers popping but i know its coming from the amp and its not a problem with the speaker itself.. only one speaker does it and if i switch em.. it switches to the other one so its defently related to the amp .. and it also did this with another set of speakers
now i was just wondering what could be causing this.. if i raise the high pass filter i can raise the volume more without it popping so its also defently related to teh bass... along with the amp..
could this be caused by a bad ground..? (doubt it) the amp clipping? or someting wrong with the amp possibly? if i set the highpass around 120 or so, i can get the lights in my crossovers to glow alot but if i set the highpass to 60-80 i cant even get them to light up at all really before they start popping... so im pretty sure its under its rms of 284 with the highpass around 60-80 (ill check with volt meter later)
any help would be appreciated
