i love having subs in my car. but with my set up it weighs a lot and my car is my daily. i mena it might not weigh a lot to some poeples systems in their car's but to me its heavy. i was wondering if its possible to still get good bass out of 6.75 comps or whats a hard hitting light weight set up. it it worth to just build a small box with shallow mount subs.

get an re 8. not too big, small box, and has strong bass for an 8.

or if you wanna get serious get a dd 1508 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I likey mine.

Fiberglass is your friend. Lightest strongest enclosure and you can mold to trunk corner or center counsol.

Also they make a ultralight MDF, and there is Trupan that you should look into more for a small enclosure. Make sure its the ultralight.

Infinity basslink is a 200watt class D amp a powered 10" and 10" passive radiator, it weighs 22pounds with the amp and enclosure, thats pretty light...
