Hey guys, i just bought a JVC kd-hdr60 for my beater car and it is a very nice cd player for $140 shipped but i am wondering why i am getting a popping sound through my speakers when i turn the key off or just turn the H/U off? It just pops one time after the key is turned back or the H/U powered off.

h/u is a week old. BUt it that could be the problem ill send it in. Is it damaging my speakers when it does that?

Also you guys talk about ground. Is it not ok to hook the black wires together behind the deck? or should i just take the ground coming off the deck and ground it right to something metal? Thanks guys

I'm having this same problem with my Pioneer D1. I don't think it's a ground issue though. My Kenwood never did that and I used the same vehicle harness.
