I am in need of help. I have a 1997 Acura TL and have been running the stock HU with a modulator w/two amps. The CD player started giving me grief so I decided to replace it. So I installed an Alpine CDA-9886. Everything works and sounds great, but, when I turn the CD player on or turn the key on and the stereo kicks on, I get a loud popping noise through ALL speaker (subs and front and backs). It is really loud.
I never had a problem with my factory deck and amps. Everything worked fine (no ground issues, alternator noise, etc). As I mentioned, system sounds great other than the popping noise. I saw on the Net that you can hook a resistor inline with the remote wiring. I tried that and no success.
I am hoping someone has found a fix for this issue. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you!
