The new GF has family from Houston so there are rumblings about going there to visit. My recollection is, is that Houston is very close to the Gulf and it's flooded with illegals? I never planned on having fun in Texas. My comfort zone is Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.

Galleria is the expensive mall. Its nice, but not $2k an item nice.
