Where are my 72 virgins?
So got the call yesterday from the shop and the timing chain broke and bent all the valves and did some work on the engine to prettttty much say its fucked. Quoted around $4,700 for a engine from Jasper Engines, with a re-worked top end to help the oil delivery problem these 4.7L's have, and the install kit(water pump, belts, etc.). Some $800 of that is in labor, said it would take about 12.5hrs of work.
If I can find a new engine he'd put it in for the $800 in labor. Pretty ticked that this all came up about the time I needed money the most
Anyone know any good sites to search for remaned engines? I havent really found too many but wanted to know if there was any other obvious ones out there.
Nonetheless I could just buy a new car, but I just got this Jeep two years ago and its still in perfect condition other than that. I miss my heated leather, sunroof, my damn bass even!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
