I need some bang for about $200. I've got a power acoustic 1200-watt max amp to work with. Ive blown 2 cheap-*** lightning audio subs with a 125 watt rms amp and im just looking for something thats durable and affordable, preferably that already comes in an enclosure (space isn't an issue). This is my first post and I apologize if this thread has already been done to death. Help me out people! thx

You can get Comp VR's (12") for around 69.00 on Ebay which will last plenty long. You can even go with an L7 12" for 150.00 on Ebay. L7's pound. For 150.00 you won't find a harder hitting sub.

Audiobahn A125T's should last up and take some.... you can get them hella cheap on ebay.... search the stores for hi fi sound connection

That'll sound like shit, imo. Look into ebay. You can find new, in box subs there. Don't be an arrogant n00b when people are trying to help you.

but i've only seen pictures of a few installs, maybe two or three, that fit that profile of "properly done", never actually heard one in real life.

Hey prodigy, i wasn't being arrogant to people. people were helping me and i thanked them. 1 person, who's no less a noob than me, came off to me as a wise *** so I thought I'd return the favor. Thanks again for everyones opinions. It sounds like L7 is the way to go.

You can get some cheap audiobahn subs, but build the box yourself, and build it right. I have heard those bandpass boxes.....pretty Fuk'n bad
