These side panel subs produce clean bass that is right there with you. They don't sound separated like subs in the trunk behind the gas tank. I would be willing to give everything I have that made this setup work. I am selling the car so it needs to go. It is still installed but I will be removing it once its sold.

I will also give the arm rest inserts covered in speaker cloth so the subs dont hit the rear arm rest inserts and the bass can come through better. There is no cutting involved so going back to stock is very easy.

Here are a few pics, I now have JL 10w1's and they sound great being right behind my seats.

The best part is no lost trunk space, they sound much better than subs in the trunk. This is by far the best way to go with the GTO.

I paid a lot for this setup and have been extremely happy with it, the boxes are very heavy duty and will not flex.

Thanks, it does sound awesome. It is by far the best sounding setup I have heard in a GTO due to the gas tank being in the trunk. Hope there are some GTO owners here. I have been PMing Captin Jack about this setup but couldn't respond since his PM box is full lol. Hopefully he sees this!

Thanks for chiming in about the setup, it is for sure the way to go with these cars as I have had other setups and nothing compared.
