Ok did all that work and couldnt get the 6.5 to fit so i rigged up the 4x6 so it dont sound as bad and ill be purchasing some 4x6 plates soon.

Yea my bad i meant 4x6 but my buddy put 5 1/4 s in his 95 and i had 6 1/2 s in mine, lol the fun is just begining , wait til the 6x9 s

I recently blew the left front door speaker in a 1996 pontiac grand am gt If you know can you tell me how the door panels come off and how to take the 6x9s out on back seat thanks alot
sorry if this may be in wrong section

go online there is a site that will let you buy how to dismantle the door panels and back seat for like 2 bucks, basically just look for all little clips that can come off and there will be screws behind them, pop off the automatic window and doorlock panel on both doors unhook the wires and you should be good

I have a 2000 GAGT and I (DID REMOVE MY 4x6) I also put in 5.25" Flush. My door panels came out by removing the door screws and then popping the tephlon pins, which I had to replace( ORIELYS AUTO PARTS STORE) carried the replacement pins, I lifted the panel straight up and the clip pins came off the door frame.I have done alot of work on my GA ,from body kits/sound system/neons inside & out, NOS,enterior customizing, Put way more money & time into the carthan I will ever get out of it! But at least its not like every1 elses GAGT. If I can help ya in any way lemme know!
