would polyfill add a noticeable difference to a 3.5 cube box? the ideal volume for the sub is 4 cubes, so we're short by .5

also, what type of adhesive is best for securing out the fill?

I'd do about 1 lb as well in there. When I polyfilled the inside of my box for my CVXs, I just stapled it to the inside of the box with a heavy duty staple gun. Shit's not going anywhere.

Staples, for the second time. Polyfill comes in sheets so it's not going to need to be secured in every single position. Staple it every 6"-8" or so.

Also, you may want to put mesh netting on the inside of the port to prevent any polyfill from exiting the box, if you're porting it. Not all of the fill will be secured, only the stuff that's around the edges. I have probably a pound to a pound and a half in my 2.5 cubes sealed. It is stapled around the edges and stuffed in there everywhere else. It works perfectly.

It's cool. Just make sure the staples aren't long enough to come out the other side of the box and stick out. I doubt you'd build a box with that shitty of wood or even use that long of a staple.

how many pounds of fill should i put in?
