buildin a ported box, wonderin if polyfil is important or not, i noticed it in a diagram of a box for my subs from kicker, but i dunno if its really necessary or not...what do u guys think
Polyfill slows down air basically making the box sounds bigger than it actually is. depends on the box specs if you need some or not. i've seen it used in sealed or ported. in a vented box it can tend to blow out of the vent at high spl //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
kicker has it in their ported box on a PDF they have for the Comp VR's, it suggest u put chicken wire over the end of the port(inside the box) to stop the polyfil from coming out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
