polyfil

Polyfill slows down air basically making the box sounds bigger than it actually is. depends on the box specs if you need some or not. i've seen it used in sealed or ported. in a vented box it can tend to blow out of the vent at high spl //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

kicker has it in their ported box on a PDF they have for the Comp VR's, it suggest u put chicken wire over the end of the port(inside the box) to stop the polyfil from coming out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i used to have an old pair of Kicker KSR 12's and it was in a kicker ported box that had polyfill in it. and yes it blew polyfill out all the time, annoying...

The only thing I know to tell you is I've only seen polyfill used in sealed boxes.

You should definitely enjoy your Kickers...I have had a Comp vr 8 for the longest time now and have loved it!
