even with the 20sq feet less for about the same price? i really wanted to get 100sq feet for around 200 bucks. with the mega mat you get 20sq feet more and its thicker material.
I'm baffled as to what you really need 100sq ft for? Unless you're an extreme SPL competitor and you're layering your whole cabin....

i plan on doing my whole truck its a 06 trailblazer so its prob going to take about 180sq feet. i need a discount!!
Again.... unless you're an SPL competitor, you're doing something very wrong. I did my doors, trunk lid, and rear deck with 20sq ft... I didn't get to the floors unfortunately. But, a little goes a long way if you know what you're doing. Even if you ignore the 25% rule, you still don't need to lay it on more compact areas on the sheet metal that have a concentration of bumps and ridges on them. Those pieces don't typically audibly resonate. It's the larger flat portions you need to worry about.

You only need about 25% coverage. CLD tiles only help with reducing vibration and 80sq ft will be more than enough. AT has been proven effective, at least by me. Plus, sooooo much less hassle to install as you don't need a roller/heat gun/etc to coax it down.

no i know what im doing. a trailblazer has alot of flat sheet metal compared to a car with a trunk. ill ask someone from audio technix how much they think i would need for a trailblazer.
