POLL: To sell the stereo or to keep it?

In 6 weeks or so, i'll be leaving the state until next september. As soon as school gets out (May 1st), ill be heading to texas for a 5 week internship. As soon as im done with that, i'll head up to alaska for commercial fishing, followed by working construction with my dad until school starts back up again.

anyways, what do you guys think. Should i keep the stereo and just let it sit in my truck, or sell it all off and do a new build when i get back?

because im looking for opinions? lol

its a what would you do question. I like my setup that i have right now, but at the same time, i think i like installing setups more t hen just having them, although the setup i have now is fairly righteous.

im kind of iffy about leaving all the equipment in my truck too, because my parents will most likely use my truck while im gone. I dont want them to do something stupid with it all in there.

Sell it if you need the extra cash. If not, keep it. You're going to love going back to a nice system after such a long time of not having it, and then not having to do any work to it.

I'd say leave it. I would.

yeah its a tough choice, i dont NEED the money, whereas i could use it.

I really like this setup, by far my best setup to date, but at the same time i really enjoy doing the builds rather than just having the equipment.

so your going to be gone for close to 2 years? Fck that, sell it all, im sure you could use the money for something else instead of it just sitting there waiting to get stolen.

well, if you do keep it, just take it out of the truck. and when you get back you get to re-install it all. win win!!

If you're worried about the parents not operating the equipment right, then yank the power to the system and leave it in place. 5 months later you can come back and decide what else you want to do (if anything) and while waiting to do something, you just hook the power back up and boom along!
