depends what your going for, if its low level stock up grades then it can be great and cheap but it cant compeat with high end systems.

Ive had several over the years, currently have a DD Touchscreen in my car now, works perfect, not one issue. JVC makes some nice units, esp if you want to run something other than a Kenwood, Alpine, or Pioneer. Good stuff.

the kd-sh1000 is right on par with a 9887 or an 880/800. excellent sq and tons of control features including active.

i also had a kd-g820 and it was a very solid hu with great sq.

im talking more about there speakers and subs, there HUs are pretty sweet, i would have no problem running one
