All the recent fitness top gave me the idea for this thread.Rather simple. Everyone seems to have goals, and I was curious how many people are actually content with their physical self.
I'm satisfied with your body/image //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I'm overweight, but I've lost a ton of weight over the past couple years and my image of myself is getting better everyday. A lot of realization that I'll never look like AHNOOOLLD with my actively doing something to fix the things I can help my confidence tons.

I need to stop drinking so much beer!
I feel you on that man. A ton of people drink more often than me, but when I felt the need to drink every weekend I started feeling like an alcoholic. I have cut WAYYYYYYYY back this summer and plan to keep it that way. I just don't look at alcohol the same anymore really.

You won't see me in an A&F magazine.

You won't see me on TV as a spokesman for any appearance products.

You won't see me in any list of the most gorgeous people.

I am of average appearance, 5'11", and have about 25-30 pounds of fat that I don't need. I still get pimples. I don't tan because I don't like the feeling of my skin burning. I don't use hair gel anymore. I don't wear bracelets, or necklaces, or earings, or rings.

Am I satisfied with my body/image? Of course I am. Why shouldn't I be? Why shouldn't anyone be satisfied with their image? The opinions of every other person on the planet do not matter, and you are the way you are. Be happy with that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Very good outlook. The media and society in general (think magazines, movies, etc) are also portraying the best looking/most fit people and so many people want to be like them. The sad fact is such a high percentage of America is obese and don't have the motivation to come anywhere close.

Being obese is a bit of a different story. In that case, you should be satisfied with your image, but concerned about your health.

There is never a reason to worry about being too ugly, or too fat, or not muscular enough, or not trendy enough. Anytime your happiness depends on someone else's opinion of you, you will almost certainly be miserable. Be happy just being you. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
