i had 4 15's in the bed of my nissan kingcab,it was a big "v" and was sealed though,didnt have any cacellation.

did 145 on a hifonics boltar back in the mid 90's.700 watts mono,on the old kicker 15's with the gold kicker on the dustcap.

why rip out a badass 2 18" setup just to possibly stick with two 18's? Just curious, cause the last setup looked badass to me. Not satisfied with output i assume?

Because he's stepping up the size of amp.

He's using a zx2500 right now, and he's upping to a 4kw.

If he were to go the 2 18" route, which he's not, he'd want two 18s that he can safely run 2kw a piece to.

Actually, i never ran the KX2500.1, its stil BNIB and its being shipped elsewhere atm

Im going from an IA 20.1 (about 2200RMS) to the autotek (4krms)

much more power to play with, so i just wanted to try other things

I would have to say 4 15s even tho 2 18s would be sweet, but i have 4 15s that do over 150 with ease on 3900wrms, and lil speaker wire!!! And those boxes look sick!! But my brother is doing 2 18" Treo SSXs in the back of a Hummer H2 so its gunna be close, but 4 15s move alot of air!!

i would do 4 15" q's.

there will be cancellation if they fire into eachother. I would put a 1.5 thick divider down the middle of where the subs will be firing to deal with that issue.

Four 15's - period. You will sweep more air with the same power.

More cone area = More volume
