Polk SR vs Audiobahn FlameQs

Alright guys, I had 2 12" Audiobahn AW1206T subs powered by a Kicker KX850.2 which put 425 to both subs at 2 ohms. However, since they got stolen I'm planning on getting 2 12" Polk SR124-DVC powered by a Kicker SX1250.1 wired 1ohm putting 625+ to both subs. How do yall think the two setups will compare (sound wise)?

The Audiobahns were in a small sealed box and the Polks will also be in a small sealed box. The Audiobahns could get extemely loud and on those really low notes would rumble and shake everything around. As far as sound quality, they were okay.

This is what they are going in (pg3 has the old setup): http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2551474

Yep, I'm serious. It won't be the same box because it got stolen but it'll be relatively the same size, maybe a tad bigger. Not quite sure of the original box size.

I don't even think you could compare Polk SR's to any Audiobahn sub.

Thats just wrong.

The Polks are going to sound twice as good unless you just **** at installing.

I asked because I have never actually heard the SR subs, so how could i possible know what it sounds like to compare them to my Audiobahns. Sure you can assume they'll sound a lot better, but how would you know unless you heard them both?

I hear the SRs are GREAT in the SQ department. My Audiobahns were okay sound quality wise (yes, you could distinguish different frequencies), but could really rumble and literally shake the ground for some distance. I'm really just trying to find out how well the SRs will handle the really low notes. And yes I understand I'm comparing an SQ oriented sub to a SPL oriented sub. But humor me if you will.

That would be a decent amp for 2 SR12's since it would give them roughly 700w rms each (a little more than what the amp is actually rated at).

And yeah, no comparison... the SR's will eat the AB's for breakfast and shit them out by lunch time. Thing is, this will have no effect on how the AB's perform post-excretion.
