So I freakin plugged up my ipod into my headunit (jvc) through the aux.. I didn't think about turning down the volume on the ipod, but anyways, long story short, i turned up my headunit and now i'm getting completely distorted highs on my polk momo's 6x9s!!!!! My mids on the four of them work properly, the woofer on em works normally as well. I have a fosgate p400-4 on them, with an audiocontrol 4.1. All four of my momo's are doing the same thing with the distorted highs. I tuned everything out with the 4.1 but the highs, and just get a shhhhhhhh type sound for the music. So question is anyone ever encounter such a problem? And can just the tweeter on the momo's be fixed/replaced?
