Deck is on, but no music even when its showing the CD track playing.

My Clarion VRX935VD sometimes shuts the music off but the track is still palying. Someone please tell me why its doing that.!!

what deck? how to you have it hooked up, straight wires to speakers, or are you using an amp, rca's? Did you check settings on deck for hi out. Some have a switch inside programing for hi output, low output(rcs'a) check all that shit first, otherwise it is a connection problem.

Its Clarion VRX935VD DVD deck. Its the one that pops out into a "L" shape. And yes all my wirings, settings is all correct. But what does shorting mean?

wires are touch eachother like a bunch of pervs. causeing a fag spark. pull the deck and make sure your not loose in the behind...

also check the cumload on the deck. It should only be 4 ohms per channel.

do you have aftermarket speakers installed?? if so one may be grounding out and will cause the radio to stay on but no music
