Polk EX3550 or MB Quart RCE-213 ??

Hi! This is my first post here. Since I found this forum I'm so unproductive at work //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif !!!

I need advice. Right now I got :

- Pioneer deh-p6600 HU

- Infinity 6012i in rear

- Infinity 4012i in doors

I don't like those infinity (too much high-mid, not enough low-mid). I just got a new pair of Pioneer REV 6.5 to replace my rear speakers (will be installed this week-end). I heard they were pretty good speakers compared to the infinity 6012i.

Now for my front speakers.. I'm thinking of replacing them with 5.25 components. I got my eyes on these :

- Polk EX3550

- Mb Quart RCE-213

Money is a big issue here.. that's why I will buy them off ebay. What's your opinion on these 2 components ??

Also, do you think it would be better to keep the 4012i and buy a 4 channel amplifier instead?

I had a set of Polk EX series 2 speakers in 1999 that were very nice sounding. They had a very smooth detailed sound that is hard to find in speakers in their price range.
