Police Chase?

If I am the passenger in someones car and a cop tries to pull them over for speeding but they try to run am I guilty of anything as long as I don't take off on foot or something?

This never happened I've just wondered about it after seeing the chases on cops and it seems like they usually arrest the passengers too??

They can't arrest an unwilling passenger. Generally on cops, the passengers are drug dealers as well.

soon as the people are taken down, the qs are asked later. Thats what happens in the heat of the moment, so you are most likely to be in cuffs, so dont expect to walk away from all of it just because your a passenger. duh

well I mean if there are no drugs or anything else illegal in the car and no one is drunk or high. Would I be released at the scene or taken to the station and put in a cell.

This is ca.com, the cops are always busting everybody here who is innocent. It's like the Shawshank Redemption, they're all innocent.

well I mean if there are no drugs or anything else illegal in the car and no one is drunk or high. Would I be released at the scene or taken to the station and put in a cell.

What part of action now, and questions later did you not get? If there is a chase and your inocent, but your friend is driving away then you are considered a suspect, unless you want to scream im innocent like a little *****. But when the chase is over, you put your hands up because, well your innocent, but your still going to have your face in the ground or on your knees no matter what. And your going to be in the interigation room just because you were there and there are qs to be answered.
