PLZ tell me i didnt blow my sub!!!

my Q did the same thing. i cant figure out what the hell is wrong with it it will hit fine if i put it on one side but the other it wont. and when i looked at the wire going onto the terminal in the box it was burnt i dont know whats going on and it doesnt sound blown.
