plz recommend amp to power my component system

hey im new to audio system and setup so im having a hard time picking a good amp for a polk audio mmc6500 component system. I am looking for an amp that will and only will power my component speakers in the front. i was thinking of buying the alpine f450 but it mite provide a lil too much power at 200x2 when bridged at 2 channel. so i was thinking of getting its lesser model, alpine f250 which when bridged give out 100x2 and the alpine f250 is 100 bux cheaper than its big brother which is a plus for me. so which amp would u pick and why. also if there are other amps preferrably under 200 that would do the job, please list and explain why.
