plywood?

Hmmm didn't know that about plywood- except for high grade birch ply. Home depot had some lower grade birch ply for 25.00/sheet few weeks ago. Birch was 45.00, mdf was 32.00.

Here's a good question though...OP said sheets of MDF are $10 where he lives and he would need 5-6 of them for his box build (for four 8's)

1. You should be happy MDF is so cheap there, it's $20-$25 a sheet here

2. Why in gods name would you need so much wood for such a small box? I've built giant double baffled 7 cu. ft. boxes out of 2 sheets with a ton left over. I could easily build a box for four 8's using only 1 sheet...

Then I guess I'm even more confused, why the hell would you buy 6 of the 1/4 sheets? Is this because of a car size issue? Borrow your buddies truck for god's sake. Or at the very least, buy a full size sheet for $25, but then have them cut in quarters for the 50 cents it will cost you...then you'll at least save $15 >_>

34 for full sheet 10 for small sheets. no truck and my local homedepot left me waiting 2 hours and told to come back came back spoke to a manger and was told sorry. no gift card not even able to buy what i wanted. for the amount of sheets i want its for the box,amp rack, and battery box. and tbh mayb a mistake on my part. thanks

I dont understand the part about the gift card...they wouldn't let you use a gift card to buy the MDF?

Arauca ply ftw. I think some people on here are getting plywood confused with particle board.

close, they had me come back 2 times i waited about 3 hours and no one came back over to help me with the wood nor did they ever give me anyinfo so i could rent a van. the second time i waited 40 min then i said f it let me just grab 3 sheets rent a van and get it home and b done. i was saying they should of at least gave me a gift card for what they did. after my wait the second time the store manger said sorry but he does not have anyone at this time to cut the wood. i said what about the van and he said he does not have any one to do that. i would b better off coming back the next day but at like 9am.
