Plexiglass wall?

the glass and marble boxes scored so high because they are so dense, dont flex at all built like that - and reflect all of the sound wave vs absorbing some of it using a softer / less dense material for box construction.
i cant imagine how the tires on those viechles supported the weight tho :/ literly hundreds or thousands of extra pounds
Those grossly over-weight competition vehicles generally use a solid rubber tire like an armored car.

anyone seen/herd a concrete or steel box?
I've never seen a box made entirely out of steel but I have seen a couple done entirely with concrete and a wood baffle.

A lot of extreme class SPL vehicles do concrete floor build up and some line the sidewalls.

One that comes to mind is Codia's extreme build. He did concrete floors and cut his roof off and poured concrete ontop of his box and rewelded new steel roof plates. His screen name on termpro.com is Warlock if you want to see his build. There like a running 4 year build on it

As mentioned will be hella expensive to do a plexi wall. My front windshield is 1 1/2" acrylic, 4x8 sheet is usually $3k+...

You "might" be able to find a scrap piece big enough to do the baffle. Would need to start calling around to local places that deal with it and see if they have anything laying around or that they're trying to get rid off.
