I plan on cutting part of the side of the subwoofer enclosure i will be constructing and placing plexiglass on the side. How thick should it be? The thicker the better? I was thinking 1/4" thick plexiglass. The plexiglass would be covering 22.75x17.5(LxH) of the side of the enclosure

why would you go with such a thin piece of plexi, that would flex like crazy. you ever heard a plasitic cutting board being shaken, that's what you bass is gonna sound like. just go with .75 inch and get the box out line and the plexi routered .5 inch so that it'll fit flush. plus the .75 inch plexi will still be ridged enough to keep the flex out of the box.
